From Krabi to Pan Yee Island

From Krabi the journey continue and our next destination is Pan Yee Island, Phang Nga approximately 300 km North. May be for us this amazing island is not very popular but not to other tourists, my suggestion is, you should  include in your tour schedule if you plan to visit Thailand. Traveling by boat which only cost us THB2700 for a boat which can be occupied maximum for 22 passangers and it took us about 30 minutes to reach the island and exploring the surrounding islands . What is interesting about the island is that it survived at the time of the tsunami tragedy in 2004.

Surrounded by more than a hundred islands, it also became the focus of Hollywood films shooting like James Bond films and The Beach.

The majority of island residents are Muslim and they are working as fishermen, farmers pearls or run their own business. If you want to buy natural pearls you can buy here at the prices as low as RM35 or THB350.

If you want to enjoy fresh seafood, there are many restaurants here at very reasonable price and you won't regret it.

We spend about an hour exploring the island  and to know better about the island and its residents.

We left the island at about 7 pm Malaysian time and hoping to come and spend more here.
